Two kilometers from Santa Eulalia des Riu, between Cala Pada and Punta de Sa Caleta, found the beach of Es Niu Blau or s'Estanyol.
It is a cove of small dimensions and fine sand, gravel and pebbles (stones are only in the mouth of the torrent). Its waters are crystal clear and margins are rock. It is a quiet and friendly, ideal for rest and feel isolated from the world, cove.
This beach is oriented to the southeast and receives the brunt of the wind with a force between weak and moderate.
Being the water in Niu Blau transparent, reveals a sandy seabed populated by algae. Diving is recommended.
It has two restaurants and sunbeds and parasols, and especially the frequent tourists staying in nearby hotels and apartments.
Getting to Es Niu Blau or s'Estanyol
Access by car is easy following the road signs. Easy parking nearby. It can also be reached by using public transport.
You have to take the road to Es Canar (Santa Eulalia part, turning right at the first roundabout exit of the village towards Sant Carles). After 1 km., Just after a bridge you will see a path to the right that leads to the beach.
