Es Figueral means land of fig trees, because in the vicinity there are many fields planted with these fruit tree. It consists of two adjacent beaches (one much quieter than the other) separated by an island attached to the coast by a sandbar. It is preceded by a street with apartments and some shops and there are some hotels on the nearby cliffs.
The green hills and rocky shores also offer its appeal to walkers. A 3.5 km of Sant Carles de Peralta, this cove, however remote, is easily accessible following the road signs, but you must pay attention to diverted in Sant Carles.
The beach itself offers a nice stretch of soft sand and is protected by rocky cliffs, with shallow water, perfect for children.
It offers beautiful views of Tagomago, an island of private property.

Loungers, parasols, showers, restaurants, lifeguards, pedal boats, windsurfing school, water skiing, banana boat, diving school, accessible to those with disabilities, because it has disabled public access and easy parking.
There are several hotels, all-included style, so there is resort environment and a lot of tourist services, shops and bars. There are accommodation options including: Agroturismo Es Figueral and Cala Blanca Hotels Cala Verde.
There are two restaurants on either side of the entrance to the beach, including Las Dalias, a rustic beach bar with great outdoor space to eat delicious food.
If the visitor has time, may want to stop at sunset time in the Anita´s bar, authentic hippy icon, to taste the traditional liquor of Ibiza, Ibizan herbs (homemade delicious drink), which for years has been offered by the bar owners. It lies at the intersection of San Carlos that guides the way to the beaches Pou d'es Lleó and Cala Boix, Cala Lenya, Cala Mastella, Es Figueral and many more.
You can also choose to take the tourist train to get a view of the northern part of the island. This tour departs from Es Figueral once a week in summer.
Getting to Es Figueral
By bus or by car, follow signposts from San Carlos. Plenty of parking near the beach.
To reach Es Figueral just go to the town of San Carlos, north of Santa Eulalia and follow the road signs after passing through the village and turn right behind the church.
From Sant Carles, pass behind the Bar Anita and follow this road to the end, without deviating, and it will lead you to the commercial area of beach entrance. On the same street you can park.
There are also bus lines to Es Figueral in the summer.
