Es Bol Nou, known also as Sa Caleta, is a sandy beach of great beauty surrounded by pine trees and overgrown cliffs.
Its waters are crystal clear and margins are rock, something that will appeal to diving enthusiasts. It is a quiet, ideal for rest and feel isolated from the world, cove.
A different and characterful place, that escapes from the crowds and the beaten track. It has fine sand (though it has many rocks in some areas, mainly Còdols or boulders), with clear shallow waters, ideal for families with children. It is also perfect for snorkeling. Sa Caleta is highly valued by islanders.
If you walk to the right, after a short trail, you will find Es Bol Nou, an unknown cove to many people and, therefore, quieter.
Very close to the beach you can visit the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta. The ruins of the first Phoenician settlement on Ibiza, dating from 654 BC. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999.

How to get to Sa Caleta
By car, on the road from Ibiza town, past the airport to Cala Jondal. Just before arriving, you will find a roundabout with a detour towards Can Tomàs, follow it and you will go in the direction of the signs of Cala Jondal. By following a comfortable road, you will come to the turnoff indicated as Sa Caleta, a few tens of meters before the turn off to Cala Jondal. Following a dirt road, you come to a large parking lot.
Also taking the bus No. 26, 6 times a day, destination Cala Vadella from Ibiza Town and San Jose.
