A 3 kilometers of Portinatx is small Caló d'en Serra, a quiet cove, golden sand, facing east and dominated by scrub and pines of incomparable beauty.
A hardly known cove surrounded by lush nature and beautiful clear water and where a swim is an unforgettable experience, especially for diving enthusiasts.
The cove has a very difficult access and is virtually untouched, so there aren´t much services offered.
A quiet, almost not frequented by visitors and tourists, cove in which to enjoy a day of tranquility on a beach without sand, just rocks (wear appropriate shoes is recommended), an open cove with strong sea currents, so it is not suitable for children.
In a picturesque setting outside the usual tourist routes, far from hotels, beach clubs and crowds. The cliffs above the beach and the restaurant you'll find there has stunning panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the southern coast of Ibiza.
Before reaching Cala d'en Serra there is an abandoned building, half built. It is the only element that interrupts a rugged landscape of pine trees, cliffs and rocks.

Getting to Caló d'en Serra
The only way is by car, Santa Eulalia direction, then take the detour to Cala Llonga and following the road to Sol d'en Serra. It takes no more than 20 minutes from Ibiza town and parking without problem.
To get to Cala d'en Serra, one must reach Portinatx, following the road to San Juan, After following the road is a sign indicating the cove.
Once you reach the detour to Cala d'en Serra, the road is no longer paved, and is not suitable for all types of cars.
