Cala Moltons or Caló des Moltons is 3.5 kilometers away from Sant Miquel de Balansat, Cala Moltons is part of a set of three tiny coves called Es Clot des Llamp, Es Caló des Moltons and Cala Jonc (also known as S'Aigua Dolça ), located at the foot of the cliffs of Sa Punta Grossa, on urbanization Alla Dins, sits beyond Sa Cala de Sant Vicent. The three beaches are separated by cliffs.
A tiny corner, virgin and beautiful and far from the urbanized and bustling Port de Sant Miquel. It has a small slope covered by toast and medium grain sand and surrounded by cliffs and tall pines that barricade it from the wind.
The marine and underwater conditions are good for anchoring boats in the northwest of this beach, sheltered from Illa des Bosc, registering a depth of four to 13 meters, on a sandy ground with seaweed. The clear water and seabed riches invite to scuba diving.
You will reach them on foot from the Urbanization, by paths through the woods to the cliffs. Usually solitary, do not expect to find facilities or services of any kind. It is frequented by boats and divers.
Road access is easy following the signs of the road. Private vehicles can park for free in the surroundings. It can also be reached by public transport.
Getting to Cala Moltons
You must get to the Cala de Sant Vicent and follow the line behind the hotels on the beach, ascend to the urbanization Alla Dins. Facing the receipt thereof starts a path through the forest that leads to the three coves. The walk continues for about 30 minutes.
