Cala Vadella, 10 kilometers from Sant Josep de sa Talaia is a cove which is accessible by a drop of spectacular views.
Located in a quiet place in the southwest of the island, Cala Vadella is a beautiful beach with turquoise waters escorted by rock walls that protect bathers from wind and waves.
Urbanized surrounding parts are made so as to integrate with the environment which, moreover, is spectacular.
The sand is fine and clear color. The edge of the beach has a gentle slope, making it very safe for children. A wide range of services directly on the beach invites you to stay.
A small supermarket and other shops offering souvenirs and beachwear complete the picture. A diving school and pedal boat rentals offer their services.
There is also tours in a small boat to Es Vedra and other beaches.
Ideal for those looking for a pleasant and easy access beach with all the necessary services. But its virtue can also become its biggest flaw ... usually quite crowded.
The area of Cala Vadella is about quiet streets with hotels, apartments and some chalet which are rented as a holiday home, so you can find cheap and comfortable accommodation.
Services
Loungers, parasols, restaurants, bars, shops, showers, lifeguards, access for the disabled.
There is an interesting selection of cafes and restaurants. Some suggestions: Maria Luisa, for example, is a popular family restaurant, or restaurant Can Jaume.
Getting to Cala Vadella
The way to get there is well singed. You arrive by car or bus from San Jose, San Antonio and Ibiza. There is parking, but in summer is hard to find a place.
