Cala Salada is one of the most popular beaches of Ibiza for their residents. Many private boats anchored on the beach to enjoy the clear waters so close to the town of Sant Antoni Abad (just 4 km). Ideal for family and friends to spend the day and enjoy eating paella in the restaurant on the beach.
Its waters are crystal clear and margins are rock, something that will appeal to diving lovers. Children can swim with confidence, the water is shallow and security in the beach is excellent.
A nearby Cala Saladeta is only accessible by swimming or by a narrow path carved into the rock on the right side of the beach.
Surrounded by a green environment not too much urbanized. Cala Salada is usually crowded, but after traveling a winding path through the rocky cliff edge you can reach Cala Saladeta, a somewhat quieter beach.
Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta are part of the same sea U-shaped inlet, open between the cliffs. Cala Salada is next to the left margin and Saladeta creek on the opposite side. Both slopes are connected by a path along the coast.
Surrounded by hills of pine forest, the small sandy cove of Cala Salada is a perfect destination.
On the ledge to the right of the cove is a very picturesque stone tower. A road that passes in front of the tower will take to the next small cove (Saladeta, popular among nudists). To the left are fishing huts dug into the rock. The area invites you to walk through the unspoilt nature of the surrounding hills.
The cave of Ses Fontanelles
It is famous for its paintings dating from the Bronze Age. Turn before reaching the entrance to the cove right on the dirt road.
