Cala Mastella is located about twenty kilometers from Ibiza and about seven kilometers from the parish of Santa Eulalia de Riu.
The beach is divided into two areas, the sandy area formed by thin sand and stretches of rocks and another section in which you will find constructions of sailors where they keep their boats and gear.
It has a very gentle slope into the sea, so well into many meters, the water does not cover you completely. However, the seabed is composed of various plants, algae and large rock formations, which make Cala Mastella as an excellent place to practice snorkeling.
Its waters are crystal clear and margins are rock, something that will appeal much to diving enthusiasts. Residents and foreign tourists share this beautiful place.
Pine trees populates its long and steep rocky banks, while the rear is used as Socarrat Torrent´s mouth by runoff during the rainy season. A small wetland rushes and reeds recalls its existence.
On the right side a path that leads to the nearby Cala Llenya could be found. In contrast natural breakwater there is a path that leads to a popular restaurant.

Restaurant El Bigotes. To reach the restaurant from the beach, you have to walk along a path on the rocks of just 50 meters.
The restaurant tables are located in this area, by the sea, in a place to enjoy the beach and environment.
Cómo llegar a Cala Mastella
Access by car is easy following the signs and paying attention to the deviations.
The private car can be park for free in the surroundings. Also you can be reached by bike along the road of San Carlos and following the signs to the beach to get close to Pou des Lleó.
To get to Cala Mastella, east of the island of Ibiza, you must drive to the town of San Carlos, where you'll find the diversion to various beaches and coves in the area, among which you have to find the way to Cala Llenya turn left before this beach and turn right after about 600 meters.
There is a small parking lot near the beach, after which you will continue on foot along a winding road to reach the beach
