Cala Gració beach belongs to the municipality of Sant Antoni and is almost within the urban core. It is a sheltered cove, U-shaped, about fifty meters long and very wide, with small waves.
Residents and foreign tourists share this pristine beach. Rock margins, great for diving enthusiasts. Children can swim peacefully because the water is shallow and security on the beach is really good.
Even this close to the town Cala Gració retains its charm. A lively and popular beach without being overbearing and maintaining a peaceful environment.
Thin golden sand and waters of an intense turquoise color, Cala Gració is a kind of natural pool sheltered by a truly beautiful natural setting.
An aquarium in Cala Gració
Getting to Cala Gració, in a cove on the left, you can find the aquarium of Cap Blanc. This aquarium is actually a natural cave with leads to the sea, where you can observe the great variety of native species of the area in a small natural lake in the rock. Today it is a recognized center for the recovery of sea turtles.
In this same aquarium there is a jetty to ships coming from the other partof the bay of Sant Antoni and from which you can enjoy a trip through these waters.
Just off after a short walk, it is Cala Graccioneta, a tiny and equally lovely version of Cala Gració. Often crowded with visitors and residents in the summer months.
The beach of Cala Gracioneta is just a few meters from Cala Gracio. Inside the water we will find a very fine sandy soil for about fifty meters, where the depth increases slightly. The beach is located between rocky inlets and has an area with fishermen's huts. The rest of the cove is quite rocky, so appropriate footwear is advisable.
